Baby baby!

:: Happy Friday Everyone!::
Oh boy am I glad it's Friday. It's been a darn long week.
Just a very quick post to show you this little cutie!
Sqqquuuuueeeeee.

Sweet isn't it?
There are so many babies due in October this year I wanted to get a head start on the mamouth knit-a-thon ahead! This pattern was just so quick and lovely to knit I cast on another one last night.
I used Puerperium cardigan pattern form Rav and some cashmere I bought a while back form eBay. It was well worth it. It was from Japan and REALLY good value. This first one is for my niece/nephew due in October. I thought the grosgrain ribbon would look sweet on the button band if it's a little girl and I can just see it with a red crochet trim around the bottom and the sleeves, can't you? If it's a boy I thought some sweet little plain wooden buttons would be groovy or maybe choose a style and use different colours on each one.

The one I cast on last night is sooooooooooooo sweet and in the most gorgeous soft cotton. It's so lovely I can't wait to get home and knit some more. I hope to finish it this weekend and share it with you.

Have a good weekend bloglanders!
Love Tickety-boo.

  1. What a lovely pattern, and your ribbon, crochet and button ideas are great. Almost makes me wish I had a bun in the oven....kidding!!! We haven't had a baby in our family for a while now. :)

  7. Hi TB, Wasn't sure how to respond to you, so I opted for your last post. I do love the Addi-Turbo, they are indeed $$$$ but they are so flexible and sleek. So I think they are worth it. xoRobin❤ (but just my opinion)
